Artemis Colea
Artemis@oceangalleries.com
Artemis holds a Major in Fine Arts from the University of Maryland,
College Park where she graduated with Honors. Following her heart and her
love for art, Artemis broadened her education and apprenticed in an intense
study of painting and drawing in Amfissa and Athens, Greece. Artemis'
interests also include outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and
snowboarding.
When asked who her favorite artists are, she replied, "Rather than choose a
favorite artist I am more apt to choose favorite works. An artist's
portfolio can range tremendously. I tend to fall in love with individual
pieces that draw emotion and that are thought provoking."

Kathy holds a degree in Fine Arts from Moore College of Art and Design
in Philadelphia, PA where she focused on painting, drawing and printmaking.
She gets to share her love of the creative arts everyday at Ocean Galleries
both as an art consultant on the floor and also behind the scenes in the
framing shop. Among Kathy's favorite artists at Ocean Galleries is Jiang,
whose work she enjoys for its symbolic and whimsical quality. She also
"appreciates the manner in which Jiang designs his compositions as well as
his color usage." When not in the gallery, Kathy enjoys spending time with
her husband, going to the beach and creating her own works of art.
Luther Riexinger
Originally from Northeast Pennsylvania, Luther attended Houghton College as
a graphic design student while double majoring in Sociology. He has now
been with the gallery for seven years, not only on our sales team, but as our
company IT Tech as well. When choosing a favorite artist, Luther adds, "I
prefer figurative abstract art such as Emanuel and Douglas’s work, but also
enjoy colorful and energetic pieces such as Jiang’s work.” A few of his
favorite hobbies include reading, working on his graphic art and
photography, and studying classical and Russian literature.
