Back by popular demand and just in time for campaign
season, Ocean Galleries celebrates the whimsical art of one of the most
beloved icons in American history, Dr. Seuss, with this unique,
presidential-themes exhibition.
In collaboration with the release of The Knotty Problem of Capitol
Hill, Finding a Way to Raise Taxes Without Losing a Single Vote,
the first-ever political Dr. Seuss print edition, Ocean Galleries is
proud to present the Dr. Seuss for President Art Exhibition.
Featuring imagery from politically charged artworks, books, and
editorial cartoons, the Dr. Seuss for President Art Exhibition
offers an unusual glimpse into the sociopolitical minded imagination of
the world's most celebrated icon of children's literature.
For over 60 years, Theodor Seuss Geisel, a.k.a. Dr. Seuss, created
illustrations that brought a visual realization to his fantastic and
imaginary worlds. Join us as we explore the various elements of the
sociopolitical Dr. Seuss with this fun and lively exhibition that is
uniquely, stylistically and endearingly "Seussian."
