JONAH WATEROUS

in Sociology. During his time in University Jonah began working under his mother, world renowned artist, Jane Waterous. As a protege he learned all aspects of the creative process and began branching off to form his unique style.

Jonah meticulously hand paints thousands of three dimensional dots onto the canvas that creates lifelike texture and the illusion of movement as light bounces from seemingly endless dots of colour. Jonahs goal with his works is to find the detail in the small things in life by painting them in them large scale. A series he calls, “larger Than Life”.

His work is a celebration of life’s smallest details, the power of love, and the endless possibilities of human potential. His art not only captivates with its vibrant colors and intricate textures but also challenges us to see the world—and ourselves—in new and transformative ways.
