first place honors in the National New Artist Competition and throughout the following years continued to receive countless other national and international honors.

Hessam Abrishami left his home country to expand his knowledge and awareness of the outside, changing world. Following the great influence of the ancient history that surrounded him as a child, his quest to excel as an artist took him to Italy, one of the historically great epicenters of the art world. He received his master’s degree in fine art in Pietro Vanucci, at the Accademia di Belle Arti and perfected his craft diligently.

Hessam settled in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he continued to expand his creativity. His artwork is exhibited in Europe, Asia, and North America. Hessam’s work can also be found in several Ivy League University textbooks nationwide.

By combining his love for anatomy and realistic painting with styles such as Impressionism, Surrealism, Cubism, and Modernism, he was able to develop his own unique style of painting. Leading to tens of thousands of private collectors world-wide, over $65 million in sales, hundreds of one-man gallery shows, over 30 international exhibitions, and multiple works in museums.

The French press has called Hessam's artwork, "A statement in fluidity of human figures with tension between each figure, a kinship that provokes the viewer to seek reasons for such relationships." Another described Hessam's work as, "Taking the onlooker to a realm of suggestion and mystical beauty…where everything is alive with a sense of everlasting, fluid motion."
