Michael has painted large scale murals in several celebrity, sports stars’, homes, as well as commercial and residential buildings. In addition to murals, Michael has a strong collector base for his easel paintings large and small. He works with interior designers and architects to either find the right artwork for a particular space or make custom paintings to meet the needs of the client.

Michael is also a public speaker, at the young age of 19, Michael was diagnosed with stage 3 skin cancer (malignant melanoma), the same cancer that took his father’s life when Michael was 18.

But with fierce determination and self education he resolved to slay that dragon and set out to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional actor.

Along the way he has had many opportunities to speak publicly about overcoming his cancer and what that journey has taught him. He speaks on a variety of subjects such as Overcoming Adversity, Beating The Odds, Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway, Setting and Accomplishing Value Driven Goals and as a father of three children: Fatherhood .

He is also an accomplished singer-songwriter, plays acoustic guitar and is the front singer of The Sonic Groove Band. Michael plays in and around the Los Angeles area and wherever he happens to be located for acting work. He and his band invite celebrity artists to sit in on their sets on occasion. They perform some covers and several original songs Michael has written. "It's all about having a good time and involving the audience in what we are doing. We prefer an interactive experience with the audience and even invite them to sing along with us."
